Previously, the National MDCAT exam was conducted by PMC for all students, but after the restoration of the PMDC council, the MDCAT will now be conducted at the provincial level by UHS Lahore.

Every year, after FSc pre medical students appear in MDCAT. MDCAT is conducted in Pakistan for approximately 3-4 months of FSc. The MDCAT is offered once a year in August. Registration generally opens up in May and closes in July. There are no fixed dates for the MDCAT.

Verified Information For MDCAT UHS Entry Test

All Conducting bodies (Universities) will Follow Question Bank. PMDC (Successor of Pakistan Medical Commission) will be issued the Question Bank. For Punjab, the Univerity Of Health Sciences is conducting body.

The paper will be based on the MCQs Bank as per the syllabus.
The same Question Paper is for all Candidates across Province.
Additional marks will be given to Hafiz-e-Quran.
The passing marks for MBBS are 55%, while for BDS, they are 45%.

2. Eligibility For MDCAT UHS Entry Test

The eligibility criteria for the MDCAT UHS entry Test are not as stringent as you might think. To take MDCAT, score 60% in SSC and HSSC with physics, chemistry, and biology.

Pakistani, Overseas Pakistani and Foreign Nationals can all register for MDCAT.
FSC/HSSC/A level result/degree IS NOT required for MDCAT registration.
A candidate is permitted to take the MDCAT only once in each calendar year.

Good news for MDCAT aspirants in Pakistan: PMDC officials have decided that there will be no negative marking In MDCAT UHS Entry Test.

7. Time Allowed

The total time allowed for the MDCAT is 3.5 Hours. Yes, only 210 minutes!

UHS sets up many examination centers for the MDCAT. In Lahore, there are approximately 25 centers, and centers are also set up in the following cities:
