When Will 9th Class Results 2026 Be Announced?
All Punjab education boards will declare the 9th class result on 02 September 2026 at 10:00 AM. This includes BISE Lahore, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Sargodha, BISE Multan, BISE Faisalabad, BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Sahiwal, BISE Bahawalpur, and BISE DG Khan. Boards in other provinces usually announce their results around the same time, but the exact date can differ by a few days—please check your own board’s page below to confirm.
How to Check Your 9th Class Result 2026
By Roll Number
Visit your board’s official result page and enter your roll number in the search box. Your result will show your marks, grade, and status.
By Name
If you have lost your roll number, most boards also allow you to search by your full name and father’s name.
By SMS
You can also get your result by SMS. This works even if the website is slow because of heavy traffic on result day. SMS codes are different for each board — check your board’s page for the correct code.
By Gazette (PDF)
Every board publishes a full gazette (PDF list of all students) a few hours after the result. You can download it and search your name using Ctrl+F.
9th Class Results 2026-Punjab BISE Boards

9th Class Result 2026 – Federal Board (FBISE Islamabad)
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) announced the 9th class results on 29 July 2026 at 11:15 AM. Out of 148,311 candidates who appeared, 88,646 passed, taking the overall pass rate to 59.77%. This was also the first SSC Part I result under FBISE’s revised grading system, in which the minimum passing mark was raised from 33% to 40%. Students under FBISE Islamabad can check their results online using their roll number, by SMS, or by downloading the official gazette.
9th Class Results 2026-KPK Boards
KPK boards have started announcing the 9th class result 2026 — BISE Peshawar declared its result on 4 August 2026, followed by BISE Kohat on 5 August 2026. Other KPK boards (Abbottabad, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Malakand, Mardan, and Swat) are announcing their results around the same period. Click your board below to check your result.
9th Class Results 2026- Sindh Boards

Passing Criteria & Grading 2026
In most Punjab boards (Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, etc.), you still need at least 33% marks in each subject to pass, with theory and practical checked separately for science subjects.
Note: FBISE (Federal Board) has already confirmed a new passing criterion for 2026 — the minimum has been raised to 40% under its revised grading system. Other boards may follow this change in the coming years, so always check your own board’s official notice for the final rule.
Rechecking, Marks Improvement & NOC (Board Migration)
Rechecking
If you think your marks are wrong, you can apply for rechecking at your board office. There is usually a small fee per subject (around Rs. 1,500, but this can change — confirm the current fee with your board). Rechecking results usually come a few weeks after the original result.
Marks Improvement Exam
If you passed but want a higher percentage (for better college admission), you can appear in an improvement exam for one or more subjects. This is offered by your board after the annual result, usually along with the supplementary exam. Contact your board office for the exact schedule and form.
Migration Certificate / NOC — Doing Intermediate From a Different Board
Many students want to do their Intermediate (FSc, ICS, or F.A) from a board different from the one where they did matric — for example, moving from BISE Gujranwala to BISE Lahore for a specific college. To do this, you need a Migration Certificate (NOC) from your original board. You can apply for this at your matric board’s office, usually by submitting your result card, a form, and a small fee. Ask your new college for the exact list of documents they need along with the NOC.
What to Do After Your 9th Class Result
After your 9th class result, you move to 10th class (Matric) in the same group — Science, Computer Science, or Arts/Humanities. Since your final Matric result combines both your 9th and 10th class marks, this is the right time to start preparing seriously:
