National-Level Syllabus
The MDCAT Syllabus 2023 is designed to cover the national standards and requirements. It has been meticulously prepared, considering the existing recognized syllabi by a committee comprising provincial universities and IBCC.

Question Bank Alignment
The question bank for the MDCAT Paper aligns with the recognized syllabi of F.S.c in Pakistan. Every question in the paper is formulated in accordance with the existing syllabi. If, by any chance, a question is found to be outside the syllabus, it will be immediately removed from scoring by the Examination Paper Review Committee.
Objection Mechanism
To maintain transparency and fairness, students appearing in the PMDC MDCAT exam will receive an objection form at the examination center. This allows them to record any objection they have regarding a question they believe is outside the syllabus of the relevant Board. All objections will be reviewed promptly after the completion of the MDCAT exam on 15th November. If a question is found to be outside the identified syllabus, it will be removed from scoring.
MDCAT Paper Pattern
No Negative Marking
The National MDCAT does not have any negative markings. This means that you will not lose marks for incorrect answers. Focus on answering as many questions as possible to maximize your score.
Total Marks and Time Duration
The total marks for the MDCAT exam will be 200, and you will have a total of 200 multiple-choice questions to answer. The duration of the paper is 3.5 hours, allowing you enough time to carefully attempt each question. On average, you will have approximately one minute to answer each MCQ, which is more than sufficient if you have prepared well.
