What is MDCAT in Pakistan, Actually? A Guide for Beginners

Previously, PMC used to make policies for MDCAT Aspirants, now PMDC will do this work,
Every year, after FSc, pre-medical students appear in MDCAT. MDCAT is conducted in Pakistan for approximately 3-4 months of FSc. The MDCAT is offered once a year in August. Registration generally opens up in May and closes in July. There are no fixed dates for the MDCAT.
Verified Information For MDCAT in Pakistan
- The paper will be based on the MCQs Bank as per the syllabus.
- There will be no change in the paper pattern.
- Additional marks will be given to Hafiz-e-Quran.
- The MDCAT will be conducted by provisional universities and will be paper-pen based.
- In Punjab, UHS MDCAT will conduct the test, while in Sindh, Dow Medical University will conduct it.
- In KPK, KMU will conduct the test.
- The passing marks for MBBS are 55%, while for BDS, they are 45%.

2. Eligibility For MDCAT in Pakistan
- Pakistani, Overseas Pakistani and Foreign Nationals can all register for MDCAT.
- FSC/HSSC/A level result/degree IS NOT required for MDCAT registration.
- A candidate is permitted to take the MDCAT only once in each calendar year.

No negative marking in mbbs entrace paper. No marks deducted or added if question paper is left unanswered. No grace marks allowed.

The total time allowed for the MDCAT is 3.5 Hours. Yes, only 210 minutes!
